New build academy worth 11million

Value 35 Million.This project consisted of a two phase new build academy for West Sussex County Council. On phase one which was the new build I was responsible for the dry lining and ceiling package, this meant meeting programme deadlines and handling all the interfaces between the dry liners and the M+E services. This has greatly increased my knowledge of internal finishes. I also had responsibility for a number of smaller packages including moving walls and glass balustrades. During phase two of the project I have been responsible for looking after the asbestos and demolition packages, ground works package and the tarmac on site. I also oversaw the construction of a state of the art artificial sports pitch. I am currently managing the construction of the grass running track.

This project consisted of new build and refurbishment elements. I was responsible for all on site activities and reported directly to a Project Manager. This was a large step up for me as I was only a assistant on my first job. This job gave me experience in being able to manage not only refurbishment work but also new builds as well.

- 8 Million.This project consisted of refurbishing an old office block into a 5 star hotel. This was my first job within the construction industry and it gave me a very good base in all elements of construction. I worked very closely with an experienced site manager and acted as his assistant. Working in central London provided some extremely tough logistical situations. This project gave me a very good knowledge of the quality of finishes expected within a 5 star hotel. This helped me gain a lot of experience at producing a quality job to an extremely high standard
