I am a positive individual and I love the human interaction aspect of my current job working as a tour guide. It can be tricky to build rapport with complete strangers, especially those from other countries where a language barrier could be a factor. I find it extremely rewarding meeting people from all walks of life and learning about their lives. I believe this is a valuable skill in any work place and has given me confidence to attack any kind of new challenge. I have been fortunate since finishing my studies 6 years ago to be able to travel to many places including South East Asian countries, Australia, Fiji and now New Zealand. Though this life style means many changes, it has meant I have been able to try my hand at many things I never would have thought id end up doing ranging from working in construction, tourism,hospitality,agriculture and even once in a nut packing factory! Essentially my experiences have left me wanting to try many different avenues. I enjoy hands on and physical work as much as I enjoy writing and planning. But over all working face to face with other people is what I find truly rewarding, building relationships and finding solutions.
