Experienced horticulture and conservation professional with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Lecturer in Horticulture, Conservation, and Ecosystem Management at TAFE SA since 2020. In this role, I mentor new lecturers and coordinate the delivery of various training programs across multiple campuses. I assess trainees, update training resources, and engage with stakeholders to enhance program offerings. Additionally, I have successfully developed online platforms for training and utilized social media to increase student engagement. As well as main stream students I educate incarcerated students at the Cadell Training Centre and Adelaide Womens Prison.Previously, as the Production Manager at Yalumba Nursery, Yalumba Wine Company, I oversaw a workforce of up to 65 employees and played a pivotal role in business strategy, production planning, and quality assurance. I achieved significant production increases and successfully implemented capital projects to enhance efficiency.Prior to that, I served as a Horticulture Lecturer at TAFE SA and as a Horticulturist at Zoo's SA, Adelaide Zoo. These roles involved coordinating training programs, completing horticultural works, and ensuring aesthetically pleasing landscapes.Earlier in my career, I worked as a Horticulture Team Leader at Adelaide City Council and as an Occupational Health and Safety Officer at District Council of Mallala. In these roles, I led teams, implemented safety measures, conducted audits, and managed various projects.Throughout my career, I have demonstrated exceptional leadership, strong technical expertise, and a commitment to quality and safety. I have successfully built relationships with stakeholders, implemented process improvements, and achieved notable accomplishments.
