As part of my personal development during second year I volunteered with the Fallen Heroes of Normandy organisation, a digital archives service created to memorialise those who lost their lives in Normandy during the Second World War. During my volunteering I aided their temporary exhibition, interacting with guests and enhancing their experience by providing more insight into the artefacts that were on display. Furthermore, I aided the digital archive by supporting their research into the 6888th postal directory battalion, working independently to find, organise and present my research in this subject area. I also presented research concerning those military animals that fell during d-day.
