First and foremost, I am a proud descendant of the Gumbaynggirr and Dughutti in northern New South Wales and the Kullilli people of central Queensland and the Wakka Wakka people of southern Queensland.I have over ten years experience in the IT industry having previously worked for Microsoft and Trend Micro as well as in the tech start-up scene for more than five years.I am a co-founder of Ngakkan Nyaagu (NGNY), an Aboriginal owned digital agency and Cofounder of Indigitek, we provide STEAM learning and career pathways for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people.I have a passion to contribute towards the sustainability and enhancement of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture through the influence and use of technology. Through this journey, I aim to promote and support increased Indigenous participation in the digital economy and support the drive towards a collaborative and sustainable Indigenous IT community.
