As a consultant for the research and development tax incentive, I assist businesses in accessing funding for their innovative projects. I work closely with clients to identify eligible R&D activities, prepare robust claims, and navigate the complex compliance requirements. I have experience working with a variety of clients, from startups to large ASX listed companies operating across a wide range of industries.

Worked as a process engineer primarily developing skills in process improvement. Approximately 1 year into my employment I was promoted to quality manager where I gained responsibility in ensuring QA/QC procedures and specifications were appropriately implemented and adhered to. I also gained exposure to other technical and commercial activities including the research and development tax incentive, government grant applications and the patenting of core processing technology.

Initially worked as a bartender before being promoted to supervisor, with responsibilities including organising staff according to their strengths, maintaining responsible service of alcohol standards and ensuring staff safety (eg managing hydration on hot days)

At the Kemerton titanium dioxide plant I utilised engineering fundamentals such as heat and mass balances, working on heat exchangers, alternative ore composition analysis and fluidisation, while incorporating safety into my decisions. I also utilised professional documentation and document management systems in my work.
