Employed by Transport for NSW (TfNSW) as part of the 2021 Graduate program and currently working as a member of the Pitt Street Station Implementation Group. The new underground Pitt Street metro station will form part of the City and South West Metro line.Key responsibilities of this role include:- Assist the Site Engineer and Project Engineer in conducting and reporting on daily site inspections and regular witness point inspections throughout the design and construction of the ‘Pitt Street Integrated Station Development’ project.- Create and mark-up progress trackers using BlueBeam Revu to quantify contractor’s progress against the target program and ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.- Champion, resolve and close out Requests for Information (RFIs) raised by the contractor .- Assist the Design Manager in responding to and closing out Subject Matter Expert’s (SME’s) comments on Stage 3 building services design.- Track and update relevant team members (project delivery team) of post Approved for Construction (post-AFC) design changes.- Draft Change Approval Papers (CAPs) and Modification Proposal Requests (MPRs) for changes to the contract identified during the design and construction of the project.

I am working as a junior Assistant Signal Engineer within the Signals Maintenance team.Key responsibilities of this role include: - Assist Signal Engineers and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams during fault finding, routine maintenance and planned upgrade works of signalling infrastructure. - Perform preventative maintenance tasks (inspections, testing and commissioning) of field equipment to assist in ensuring long-term operation of components. - Assemble, test and commission remote condition monitoring equipment to assist in determining failure trends and develop preventative maintenance plans. - Design and fabricate test rigs used to simulate real-world technologies and perform widespread testing to assist in root cause analysis of equipment failures. - Develop technical failure and investigation reports to detail root causes of failures and provide recommendations to senior management for future projects.

I am working as a junior Project Engineer within the Fleet Services team.Key responsibilities of this role include: - Assist the Manager of Workshops in the management and delivery of various minor engineering projects. - Assist in ensuring that projects/contracts are operated and maintained in accordance with the Project Deeds, including technical criteria and WHS requirements. - Participate in tender/contract assessment and evaluation process. - Assist in effective delivery of minor project contracts - Develop technical and functional specifications for minor projects - Regularly facilitate project meetings and present project updates to senior management. - Optimise workforce planning through the automation of scheduling and data collation/interpretation tools - Assist in developing Asset Management plans for mobile and fixed assets. - Assist in the concept design and Computer Aided Design (CAD) modelling of minor projects delivered by Fleet Services.

Five-month rotation as a part of the Westpac Cadet Program within the Detection and Response team of the Information Security Group (ISG).Key responsibilities of this role included: - Deliver the Cybercrime Detection Analysis and Response (CDAR) function for Westpac by performing the role of a CDAR on-call analyst and participating in cyber security incident response activities, including managing alerts, processing phishing takedowns and responding to DDoS incidents - Learn the key programming and query languages currently used by Westpac ISG to develop and maintain systems and applications to manage new threats to customer security - Becoming proficient in the use of Mac OS and Linux-based operating systems, and associated tools used to perform the role of a CDAR analyst and systems engineer, including system administration, command line tools, editors and shell scripting. - Support ISG's Detection and Response team through ad-hoc requests to improve the internal systems used by the team through tactical fixes and process improvements, including greater automation of manual tasks. - Assist in the collection and dissemination of information regarding the current security threats and incidents used in ISG's stakeholder reporting. - Implement strategic enhancements and improvements to the systems and applications used and maintained by the Detection and Response team. As part of the CDAR uplift project, further develop capabilities helping to increase automation, efficiency, accuracy and consistency of processes and on-call tasks.
