I am a Compliance Specialist working at Sellick Partnership in their Manchester office. I joined the company in July 2021 as a Compliance Co-ordinator. I have now been working in the recruitment industry for over 2 years and in that time have been promoted twice, most recently progressing to my current position of Senior Compliance Specialist. Over the past 12 months the Compliance team has focused on becoming a group compliance function, bringing all our offices temporary workers compliance under our remit in order to make this a more streamlined approach. I currently handle the legal candidates for our Regions and Regions East teams as well as any temporary workers for our Newcastle office. I also handle any of our legal temporary workers that are placed through the CCS/HTE Frameworks. Day-to-day this involves ensuring that all our client and framework requirements are met for all workers to ensure that all our stakeholders are protected from risk. We also handle all post-placement compliance including audits, RTW renewals, DBS renewals, qualification renewals, client specific time sensitive documents, placement and precision extensions and timesheets. It has been an exciting time for the team over the past 12 months, with some fantastic audit results which resulted in us achieving a Platinum Award for our Health Trust Europe Framework Audit which took place in 2023. Additionally, our successful results also saw the team win the ‘Support Service Team of the Year’ at the APSCo Awards for Excellence 2023 and shortlisted at Recruiter Magazine’s 2023 Recruiter Awards – for the second year in a row.
