During my summer internship I worked as part of the change management cycle, negotiating between management and engineers, working with budgets and managing the change process. This placement allowed me to see the complexities of how a large international company manages multiple projects and the unique demands from each customer. These unique demands meant I was constantly liasing with a global time, developing my communication and teamworking skills.

I take groups of up to 9 people on an aerial assault course and climbing wall. In these sessions I have to brief everyone on the important safety information, ensure that they are wearing the safety equipment properly and make sure that they aren't going to damage the equipment or themselves. I also have to provide inductions to customers that wish to become members. An induction includes educating the customer about the possible dangers that may occur in a climbing wall and how to avoid them. I also have to show the customer how to be self sufficient when it comes to putting on the safety equipment.
