Afrika Umoja was formed as a not-for-profit initiative by Cape Town-based exhibition company, HOTT3D, together with Africa Oil & Power, an event organizer, offering to work with governments and private sectors across Africa to lobby funding to rapidly build hospital infrastructures and shelters in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.What is Afrika Umoja?A marketing and PR mechanism that brings together event industry professionals to facilitate emergency medical relief efforts caused by COVID-19.What is it supposed to do?Identify shortfalls and urgent needs within the medical field and the designing and implementing, on a rapid response basis, to supplement the space needed for medical professionals to perform their duties.How we do achieve it?Through intelligent, flexible and modular design as well as the assembling of a team of specialists that can react and implement rapidly anywhere on the African Continent.
