Liam is an award winning talent booker, music producer, artist manager and music educator based in Derry, Northern Ireland. An educator in Music Production and Business for over 10 years, Liam has helped steer and oversee the growth of the Music and Performing Arts department at NWRC in the last decade. Outside of his education work, Liam is a renowned music producer and artist manager in the North West of Ireland. Having worked with countless bands and artists including Liam has had his recorded work played across local and national radio (including Radio 1 and 6Music), gaining over 2 million streams on Spotify and nominated for various Northern Ireland Music Prize awards, including Best Album and Best single. Liam is also the co-founder of Primitive Sound, a management and artist development company, responsible for the rise and continued success of local artist ROE, who has performed across the world including Glastonbury and SXSW, as well as touring with Snow Patrol and released a string of successful singles receiving airplay across national radio and had songs placed in TV shows on ITV, Channel 4 and Netflix. Liam is also an avid campaigner and ambassador for Northern Irish Music, sitting on the advisory board for the Arts Council NI youth arts strategy committee, the NI music mapping project, and has been invited to speak at various panels and conferences including Output Belfast and The Great Escape in Brighton.In 2023 Liam began his role as Director of Music for The Dead Rabbit, assisting in the revamp of the bar's musical identity, supporting the team in their aim for the bar to represent a modern Ireland. Both the playlists in the bar and music used across social media posts are now populated by exclusively Irish music, with representation from both established and emerging Irish artists. Liam is also responsible for The Dead Rabbits live music and entertainment programme, booking established and emerging Irish talent to perform at the bar for various events, activations, YouTube sessions and its new monthly music programme - That’s Deadly Sessions.
