What I'm doing:I am currently a software development student at College of the North Atlantic in my first of three years, and am in the process of learning various programming languages such as Python and SQL. I will be entering a real work environment in May, a school work term. This will help build my skills as a software developer, and experience working wit others in a team. How I get here:I am from Vancouver B.C, and I have always been interested in technology since I was a young child, just like my dad. It may have been because of my dad introducing me to technology from a young age that I ended up pursuing a degree in software development. When I was younger, I used to make my own Mario Bros levels online, and made simple animations, now I use software such as Adobe Premiere.Where I'm going next:Once I graduate, I plan to work at a company that deals with software development in a big city, because that is where I grew up, as for a specific department, I am not sure yet. One possibility would be to write code for simple games or desktop apps, I am only two and a half months into my current three year long program, so things could easily change.
