As a Consultant for the UVCG, I had the opportunity to make a direct impact on small businesses and non-profits in the Victoria community. I actively participated in pro-bono client projects, including a logo and website rebrand accompanied with a corporate partnership package for a large non-profit organization based out of Montreal, Quebec. I also had the opportunity to aid in developing a robust training presentation to help pave the way for future UVCG Consultants, building on our team's diverse and valuable experiences in the club's founding year. I am immensely grateful for the learning and growth opportunities achieved through being a part of this talented and progressive group of consultants and I look forward to applying all the knowledge learned to my future consulting and professional career.

Working as a co-op student in public accounting was a unique and spectacular experience that enhanced my interests in the fields of Accounting, Tax, and Finance. My time as an intern provided the opportunity to work closely with and learn from a talented and diverse group of CPA professionals. The experience strengthened my complex problem-solving, professional judgement, analytical skills, and attention to detail. During my two co-op terms, I aided in providing assurance and tax services for a variety of clients in the Manufacturing, Construction, Retail, Entertainment, and Professional Services industries. I gained valuable skills and insights pertaining to audits, review and compilation engagements, corporate and personal tax returns, tax reorganizations, government assistance programs and business improvement initiatives.

As a Logistics Coordinator, I oversaw the daily logistics of launching Eurorite's internal cabinet delivery service. Our team was successful in creating and implementing efficient standard operating procedures while working directly with the Logistics Manager and Operations Manager. My everyday goal was to make the delivery process as seamless as possible and tailor our services to exceed the expectations of each Eurorite customer. This was an incredibly valuable experience because everyday presented new challenges and ambiguity, which called for creative solutions and thinking critically. The role helped directly enhance my skills in customer service, professional communication and problem-solving.
