I am a University of Victoria BCOM graduate with a specialization in entrepreneurship. I have spent the past three years working for Oak Bay Bicycles in many different roles including sales associate and marketing and communications. We sell high quality city commuters, and performance road/mountain bikes. The biking industry has been significantly impacted due to the COVID-19 creating a very ambiguous environment adding to the complexity of the job. I hope to continue working in the outdoor action sports industry with a goal of becoming a sales representative for a canadian biking or skiing company. British Columbia is the breeding ground of many actions sports and the industry will continue to grow so I plan to be apart of a growing industry. I am open to networking with people within the industry to expand my network! I have previous experience working in the restaurant industry as a line cook and manager of a food truck where I was responsible for staffing, food ordering and day to day operations. I really enjoyed my time working in the food industry and use the skills I gained in my day to day life by making delicious meals for friends and family.
