I have a passion for chemistry and my focus is on crystallography and solid state materials.I am now a PhD Candidate in the school of chemistry at UNSW currently researching zero thermal expansion materials in the Sharma group of which I am the safety officer.I have already done a number of things in my time at the school of chemistry; I have had the privilege of conducting high pressure experiments at ANSTO on the wombat high intensity neutron diffractometer, I have conducted thin film and powder x-ray diffraction and determined crystal structures of unknown materials that I have made. I have received training in pulsed laser deposition and have made thin films of the zero thermal material I am studying.I have presented some of my work at the ACNS clip day for early career researchers and will be looking to publish my honours work with international collaborative partners.
