(Chase LS et al., Automated measurement of distance-walked as a "sixth vital sign" for detecting infusion reactions during preclinical testing. International journal of pharmaceutics, 645, 123369.)• Co-Leader of Project: Collaborated with a pharmaceutical company to develop nanomedicine-based therapeutics for Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS).• Co-Leader of Project: Investigated the impact of conjugation chemistry on antibody-targeted nanoparticles, revealing significant variations in complement activation and biodistribution. Developed novel solutions to mitigate complement activation, highlighting the importance of considering opsonins in conjugation chemistry for nanomedicine applications, resulting in a publication under review at ACS Nano.• Lab Manager: Coordinated the execution of the following types of experiments for all projects in the lab: small molecule drug loading into nanoparticles, protein modification and conjugation onto nanoparticles, animal models of ARDS and sepsis, protein transfections using DNA plasmids, murine surgeries including intravenous, intramuscular, and retro-orbital injections, organ harvests, nebulized LPS administrations, Bronchoalveolar Lavage (BAL) and Tissue Harvests, and IVC blood draws.• Colony Manager: In-charge of multiple mouse breeding colonies of genetically modified, immunocompromised mice.
