Current- Designed and assembled the circuit board which oversees all other circuits boards related to the battery management system on Midnight Sun’s newest car MSXV.
- Designed the ~95% efficient DC-DC flyback converter used to stepdown voltage from 153Vrms to 12V for low voltage systems in the vehicle.
- Led creation of car’s 7:1 transformer to isolate and step down voltage from solar panels to electronic systems.
- Helped design the arrangement of the solar panels on MSXV to ensure the simplest wiring possible through research on past vehicles and solar panel testing.
