On a daily basis I manage four different mailboxes, my personal inbox, orders inbox, sales inbox and the info inboxEntering customer orders onto the system. Ensuring all delivery details and prices on the order match and are correctWhen entering the orders onto the system I am also responsible for ensuring that we have enough stock on raw materials that go into that orderDealing with all customers queries that come in and deal with them in the best way possible. Some of these queries may be related to them needing an order earlier than expected, needing to add an item to their order, delay their order slightlyAnswering incoming calls and dealing with them or passing the call onto the relevant personSending out order confirmations via email ensuring that the customer is aware of them they will receive their order and informing them if there are any delays Updating annual leave files and ensuring the information is on the share calendar SalesEnsuring prices on products sold to customers are current and up to date If our cost to supply products have increased, reworking on the current price so the impact to the customer is not too much but the business is not decreasing there margin as wellFollowing up with existing customers on any future projects Building & maintain relationships with new & existing customers When finding new customers, I ensure I gather all the relevant information on their company and what they are looking for straight away so I can speak to our technical department to select relevant flavours / fragrances suitable for their productsObtaining fragrance & flavour briefs from customers and arranging with our technical department for samples to be sent outSourcing new business through research online and contacting either by telephone or email Making initial contact with any new potential business enquiries through the information mailbox
