I have many diverse skills developed through a variety of business disciplines and volunteering roles. These include Creation and Amendment of Controlled Documents, Customer Service, Data Entry, Event Planning, Fire Marshall Certification, Genealogy, Historical Research, Maintaining Electronic and Paper Record Systems, Networking, PowerPoint Development, Public Speaking, Public Relations and Quality Control. I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. I am equally happy working as part of a team or on my own as required. I have a naturally enquiring mind and am keen to develop on my existing skills.I am passionate about Heritage and have been volunteering at Grade 2* Listed Wythenshawe Hall since 2012. I am a founding member of the Friends of Wythenshawe Hall where I am the Heritage Co-ordinator and Vice Chair. In these roles I enjoy historical research, creating PowerPoint presentations and giving talks on the history of Wythenshawe Hall and the Tatton family who lived there. I have experience as a costumed room guide, giving public presentations and guided tours. I was responsible for a Crowdfunding campaign and the preparation and submission of successful grant funding bids.In 2019 I became group Chair for Friends of Baguley Hall and recruited a committee of like-minded volunteers. We are working in conjunction with Historic England towards finding a sustainable future for Grade 1 listed Baguley Hall.
