As a graphic designer with four years of experience in the industry, to me, working in Graphic Design is more than just a job. It is a life passion and something which gives me purpose and the motivation to continuously develop new skills whilst refining and improving on the skills I already have at my disposal.My Graphic Design journey has been one of ongoing growth, learning, and both professional and personal development. Studying design and specialising in graphic design was a natural progression for me as I have always had a passion and strong interest in the design world and immersing myself within it.I have mainly worked within a corporate environment with an in-house design studio. My skills are in both print and web design, and I have a particular interest in the way web design is revolutionising into a multitude of different pathways, making experiences more interactive and adaptable.Whilst at university, I spent my placement year at Exertis working as a Graphic Designer where I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity and chance to develop my skills within the design and generate a better understanding of what it's like to work within a workforce and part of a team, something which I have been able to harness and develop since then. Learning more about Web and POS design whist at Exertis, enabled me to focus on the print side of Graphic Design, whilst getting to work on magazine editorials and adverts. This gave me the solid foundations one needs to strive in the world of Graphic Design and for me to effectively and efficiently carry out my work.In my spare time, you can find me painting whilst listening to a good mystery podcast or watching my favourite shows.
