Performed all duties involved in managing the dental practice.* Answer phones, schedule appointments, and check patients in/out.* File all insurance claims and deposit daily insurance payments.* Verify insurance benefit information and collect patient co-payments from patients.* Provide supporting information (such as x-rays, narrrative summaries, etc.) to insurance companies along with pre-determination of benefits.* Help patients with information, concerns, and questions regarding their dental benefits according to individual procedures.* Prepare all daily accounting and scheduling reports.* End of the day accounting procedures, such as preparing bank deposits, closing out credit card reports, and running final balance reports.
