Libby (she/her) is a consent and respectful relationships educator presenting the Love Bites Facilitation training to community workers across Australia with NAPCAN. She has delivered RRE to 2,500+ young people over 100+ sessions across the Central Coast Region. In 2023 she was awarded with the Social Impact in Education Award by Central Coast Council for her work. She holds positions on the Domestic Family and Sexual Violence Commission, and Full Stop Australia’s Lived Experience advisory groups, is a eSafety Youth Council Alumni, and a Plan International Australia Youth Activist Alumni. Having been involved in youth led advocacy since 2019 she has written for The Guardian, been interviewed on The Project, 60 Minutes, SBS, The Daily Aus, and Triple J, spoken at a School Strike for Climate rally, and presented ASEAN Australia Strategic Youth Partnerships Digital Dialogues session on gender and diversity.She collaborated on ‘A Better Normal: Girls Call for a Revolutionary Reset’, authored ‘The Future Online’ report, and published ‘Moving the Material Me’ in the Journal for Undergraduate Ethnography. Graduating in 2021 with a Bachelor of Social Science with Majors in Gender Studies and Anthropology she drove on campus calls for improved consent education through her role as the Co-President of Macquarie University the Women’s Collective. Passionate about change making she uses lived experience to discuss consent, image-based abuse, and street harassment, alongside climate change, period poverty, and ensuring youth have a seat at the decision-making table.
