I serve as a policy and technical advisor on health policy, delivery, evaluation and financing issues. I'm responsible for designing, evaluating, and analyzing programs, researching projects, and coordinating data. I analyse programmatic and fiscal impact of policies for a health care delivery and financing system which encompasses nine Managed Care Organizations and 24 local health departments and serves one million Medicaid recipients (over 85% of all Maryland Medicaid recipients).

Manage the program analytics of the Acquisition Internship School at the Veterans Administration. Collect and analyze program metrics to report on training outcomes through historical and predictive analysis.

As a staff member of the Colorado Legislative Council Staff, the nonpartisan research agency for the Colorado General Assembly, I conducted research and completed writing assignments in response to constituent inquiries received by legislators.

My responsibilities included legislative research, writing policy position papers, and maintaining legislative bill matrices. Additionally, engaging with healthcare stakeholders across Colorado resulting in legislation passed, regulations updated, and information for consumers on health plans offered via the state Healthcare Exchange. I also administered the Colorado Medical Exemption Program to help constituents receive discounts to their summer energy bills.

I was a Service Coordinator in an SSVF program for low or no income Veterans and their families facing a housing crisis. Through case management I work to make referrals for housing options, employment, counseling, and legal services. I work closely with community agencies.

I worked with young adults from 14-24 years of age who are experiencing unstable housing. I offered case management to support clients to find housing options, employment and education services, assistance in enrolling in benefits, crisis intervention, counseling, and other resources. Three or four times weekly I went to various community locations to engage with community members and potential clients, sharing information about the program, resources in Chicago, and provided supplies.

I was a QIDP for adults with developmental disabilities. My main responsibility was the well-being and safety of the clients. I worked with children age 8-17 who were custody of the Department of Corrections and CHINS. Provided a structured environment focused on teaching daily living skills and social skills. I facilitated groups on various topics from Resolving a Situation to Character Counts including groups activities.
