As a future Epidemiologist, I look forward to making meaningful contributions towards reducing morbidity and mortality at the population level and to improving the lives of individual patients and their families. I am eager to explore the variety of career opportunities to work both independently and collaboratively to examine critical questions of health and diseases, including risk factors, causes, predictors, treatments, and outcomes. I am equally excited by the analytical opportunities to leverage multi-modal data from diverse individuals around the globe to improve earlier disease detection, optimize treatment outcomes, and strive for equitable health care delivery. In addition to my graduate education at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, I have gained significant relevant experience in my roles as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Pittsburgh and a COVID-19 Project Coordinator at the Rhode Island Department of Health. I am able to work effectively with people from many disciplines and backgrounds. I am hard-working, highly motivated, attentive to detail, very organized, and eager to begin my public health career.
