While undertaking the Hamer Scholarship program I acted to further establish professional in-country networks by delving into a range of activities while in-country. Through meeting with the historical Jinsha Site Museum team, together we established an on-going working relationship to develop an audit of their international visit experience inclusive on on-site and digital marketing. Being in a real-time office was extremely valuable to gain insights, working vocabulary and understanding of marketing for Chinese audiences.

As Communications Coordinator at Craft Victoria I was responsible for all digital and print communications and lead projects spanning from digital management and engagement, design, marketing, development, PR and advertising. I developed and implemented strategic integrated marketing and acquisition initiatives to achieve Craft’s strategic goals and generate growth.I managed and was responsible for generating all digital and print design, marketing, social media content as well as working alongside the Retail & Development Manager to execute campaign photo shoots. I managed local area marketing, PR (securing coverage, coordinating photoshoots, writing and distributing press releases) and social media content creation and implementation. This included: Relaunching Craft’s Visual Identity System, designing and building the new look Craft website, creating & redesigning marketing collateral across all media platforms and further website management.

This includes the implementation and management of communications strategies that delivered significant and positive media exposure, in-line with the strategic direction and target goals of each specific client and to ultimately generate successful media outcomes.I was additionally contracted to support the delivery of the communications campaign for the Royal Academy of Dance’s prestigious Genée International Ballet Competition held at Sydney Opera House in 2016. Throughout this role I wrote communications materials, conducted media relations and assisted in the coordination of interviews, photography and filming.

BalletLab creates groundbreaking contemporary dance-based works that stimulate and engage audiences, that develop choreographic practice, that propose new national and international presentation models, and also provide educational opportunities for the next generation of Australian dance artists.____Assisted in the planning and execution of communications strategies for events, programs, initiatives and news announcements. Created and delivered integrated communications plans across traditional news media and digital channels to achieve local, national, and international reach.

Experimenta is Australia’s leading media arts organisation, dedicated to commissioning, exhibiting and touring the world’s best contemporary media art. Experimenta showcases dynamic and challenging contemporary art that intersects with digital media, science and technology, and design._____Assisted in the development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies to enhance Experimenta’s profile and brand position while publicising the touring of the 'Speak to Me' biennial exhibition which included social marketing, positioning campaigns and curatorial research. In this role I lead the development and execution of the Experimenta Blog as head editor of both local and international contributions.
