Craft Victoria is dedicated to supporting the production and presentation of craft and design. Across decades, Craft has supported thousands of artists at various stages of their careers and enabled them to advance their practices and achieve their aspirations. As a not-for-profit organisation, we put our proceeds back into our makers— through programming, events and advocacy for art and craft practitioners.
We champion makers from around Victoria, Australia and beyond, via exhibitions that combine mastery of materials with innovative techniques and big ideas and our rich program of festivals, talks, and community events.
Each year, Craft gallery showcases hundreds of exceptional artists from all corners of Australia, each with their unique mastery of their chosen art form. Our maker showcase space presents a curated collection of objects—both sculptural and functional— celebrating the breadth and dexterity of contemporary craft.
