- Recommends a Young Adult Services budget to the library board and adapts accordingly each fiscal year- Oversees the selection and continuing collection development of all materials for grades 6 through 12- Plans and runs all events for grades 6 through 12, including the newly created Teen Advisory Group- Serves as Middle and High School Liaison for area public and private schools- Leads the Social Media Team, contributes as a core member of the Website Design Team, and manages all Evanced software- Answers questions at the Adult Reference Desk up to 15 hours per week and manages the 360--399 nonfiction section- Works closely with the Head of Reference Services to assess the needs of adults and teens in a changing community- Supervises the Graphic/Marketing Associate and works with all departments to manage publicity needs- Contributes ideas and insight as part of the Management Team and serves as a Person in Charge

- Provide IT support for patrons and the Computer Desk, as well as the rest of the library, including fixing PCs and printers, imaging, and updates.- Serve as domain administrator, using Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Management.- Work with Deep Freeze, PC Reservation, Evanced Event Calendar/Room Reserve/Summer Reader and many more library-related applications.- Create and teach public computer classes, based on demand and community needs, including Microsoft Office and social networking.- Train and assist staff in the use of library hardware and software and create all necessary instructions. - Provide Reference services as needed by phone, email, live chat, and in person.- Help with Young Adult Battle of the Books and other middle school/high school events as needed.- Edit content for library blogs and newsletter, as well as design blogs and newsletter (print and online).- Create and update social networking tools for the library, including Facebook and Flickr and serve as library photographer for publicity purposes.- Update and analyze the helpfulness of library signage, in-house publicity materials, and registration materials.

- Book performers for weekend entertainment and negotiate contracts.- Interview, hire, and train prospective employees.

- Provide reference services and Readers Advisory to youth, ages birth through high school, and parents.- Select Spanish language materials to be ordered in accordance with the library's Collection Development Policy.- Write press releases for library programs for local papers.- Plan and lead craft/art project programs for children and teens.
