As Senior Principal Support Engineer I am regarded by Oracle, partners and customers as the technical expert in Oracle product usage in complex, open systems implementation environments. Anticipates reliability, availability and serviceability (RAS) requirements and other issues before they impact our customers production systems. I resolve complex problems and mentor (Principal) Support Engineers on procedures/processes to produce high-level customer satisfaction. As Cluster Technical Coordinator I support the cluster manager in managing the global queue and work flow for a given cluster (eBusiness HRMS EMEA) from a technical perspective.Responsibilities include : -Ensuring critical service requests (SRs) and work failures are assigned and processed during the active shift- Monitoring for unassigned SRs and for SRs owned by unavailable engineers and taking appropriate action as required- Working with the cluster manager and advanced resolution engineers to ensure unresolved, escalated, or aged SR’s are resolved- Monitoring executive escalations to ensure SR resolution is progressing- Managing SRs to reduce the number of escalations- Monitoring bug-related SRs to ensure that requests from development are responded to in a timely manner- Acting as first point of contact for engineers in case of technology related issues (re-assign, etc)- Ensuring consistency and continuity of technical and customer handling- Cooperating actively with cluster technical coordinator counterparts in other time zones to deliver global service- Ensuring a balanced work load in the cluster
