I have worked on a software development team developing commercial software for library automation. This software required me to learn practical and efficient techniques that combined C++ and Perl, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript all in an environment that required successful internationalization and localization.At East Carolina University, I worked as a member of the Consulting Team. I was a system administrator for test servers, worked to install prototype server software, developed custom web interfaces, scripts, and applications, and provide general consulting as requests arrive. Because of the heterogeneous web environment, I became more familiar with Windows Server 2005 and 2008, SQL Server, IIS, and Adobe ColdFusion in addition to adding to my long standing Linux/Apache/PHP/Perl experience.At Gander Mountain, I was a web deployment analyst, which translates into me being the DevOps team. I am also becoming the go-to person for our MySQL replication and monitoring. As needed, I do system administration on development, staging, and production Linux servers. I also have inherited many complex shell scripted workflows that push data sets from intranet to public facing systems.At Colorado Springs Utilities, I started as Database and Systems Senior, and have now advanced to being an IT Supervisor.
