• Role Overview: Full stack engineer for a platform enhancing corporate employee engagement and social impact. Leading projects from design to execution, working closely with product managers and UX designers across.
• Key contributor in re-writing the entire platform from a Ruby on Rails monolithic application to a distributed system with a Node.js backend and a Svelte UI. This transformation was undertaken to allow for scaling both.
• Re-modelled the main entity in the system, originally designed for different purposes, which had become cumbersome with successive patches. Collaborated with the product team to create a new, optimized model, enhancing.
• Integrated Mixpanel analytics, mentoring R&D and product managers on best practices.
