As a dedicated nursing student, I am passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and continuously expanding my clinical knowledge and skills. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at McMaster University in collaboration with Conestoga College, I am committed to applying evidence-based practices and acquiring hands-on experience in diverse healthcare settings. I have shown this commitment through my experience as a Program Assistant at Sunbeam Community & Developmental Services as well as a Clinical Extern at Grand River Hospital.Throughout my education, I have demonstrated strong leadership skills in various roles, such as a member of the student advisory and president of the McMaster Chapter of the Canadian Black Nurses Alliance. These leadership skills among other aspects have been recognized and rewarded by faculty members and organizations in the community. I am eager to connect with healthcare professionals and explore opportunities that will allow me to contribute to patient care, learn from experts, and grow as a future nurse!
