Li Lin is the founder of Lindance Academy of Performing Arts, the Chief Director of the original dance drama “My Mulan,” the President of Canadian International Dance Culture Association, an Initiator of the Canadian International Youth Dance Festival, the winner of the Canadian Outstanding Art Contribution Award, and a Senior Instructor of Chinese Dance Teacher Training at the Beijing Dance Academy. Most of all, she is a renowned educator who uses dance to open up the conversation about ancient and modern times. In August of 2019, she and her team completed a lifelong dream of creating the original inspirational dance drama “My Mulan.” When it first premiered in Toronto, it caused a local and global sensation that expanded the definition of professional dance. As a cultural exchange messenger, Li Lin showed the world the immense beauty of Chinese dance and the strength in Chinese cultural spirit.
