Future politician and lifelong advocate, I am currently a rising senior at American University, where I am actively pursuing my aspirations of becoming a catalyst for positive change in the world of politics. Currently, I am honored to work for Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur's office as a full-time Communications Fellow. There I collaborate directly with professional staff on legislative projects, press clips, and office organization while specializing in design, social media, and overall communications. During my academic tenure, I also had the opportunity to intern at the White House, serving in the Office of Political Strategy & Outreach under the Biden-Harris Administration. These experiences have opened my eyes to the intricate workings of government and deepened my commitment to effecting meaningful societal progress. My time at American University has instilled in me a profound appreciation for the significance of community, cultural diversity, and inclusivity. While my passion for a career in government has always burned bright, my academic explorations have allowed me to dissect the fundamental tenets that underpin effective governance. Courses such as Comparative Politics and Public Policy have been instrumental in furnishing me with invaluable insights that I believe will shape my trajectory in the political arena. My academic pursuits are geared toward obtaining an interdisciplinary degree in Communication, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government (CLEG). In addition, I am diligently working towards a minor in Public Policy & Administration. These focused areas of study have equipped me with a nuanced understanding of the multifaceted challenges—ranging from civil to constitutional to humanitarian—that confront our world today. My overarching aim is to harness the knowledge and principles I have cultivated to contribute to the attainment of greater social equality. I am confident that my unique perspective, guided by a strong philosophy and honed skills, will serve as a driving force toward this transformative goal.
