Mindler is a start-up company, founded in 2018, with the mission to make mental health care accessible for everyone, regardless of location or circumstance. My role is responsible for scaling up the UK team. This includes hiring for Psychologists and other corporate roles for the UK division. I also assist with the hiring efforts for the HQ team in Stockholm. This often involves working on IT/tech positions. As a start-up, I am also responsible for assisting with developing processes, policies and best practice guidelines for HR and recruitment efforts across the division.

As an internal recruiter, I was responsible for filling a wide variety of clinical and non-clinical roles across different departments (IT, Finance, Marketing, Fundraising and the Wards and Hospice). My day-to-day responsibilities included telephone-screening applicants; sitting on interview panels; advising hiring managers; negotiating salaries; writing adverts; attending recruitment fairs and dealing with agencies. I was also responsible for on-boarding successful candidates which included submitting visa applications, conducting reference checks and processing DBS checks. The roles I worked on varied from junior positions such as Kitchen Porters to C-Level positions.

I worked as specialist recruiter within the Defence and Public Sector, recruiting for UK Central Government clients in an IT/ Cyber Security space.Day-to-day responsibilities included head-hunting high-profile individuals; filling roles with urgency; writing adverts; attending client meetings and confidential webinars. Managing the ATS system, briefing and managing other consultants. Roles varied from Technical Engineers, to Front & Back End Developers, Dev Ops etc.

A 12 month placement in an Employment Law Consultancy in Milton Keynes. Responsibilities included attending and taking minutes for disciplinary hearings; updating the employment documents of clients; writing weekly blogs and monthly newsletters; attending networking events; helping to write and proof-read books and organising events and client meetings. My role also involved going into local schools and presenting assemblies to year groups, as well as conducting workshops on careers and job opportunities with small to large groups of students.
