Within my position as the Corporate Relations Assistant Director, I am responsible for reaching out and securing sponsorships in and outside of the University of Florida. I am also responsible for establishing fundraising events to raise money for the organization. As a part of the Executive Board, I must attend meetings every week, partake in a variety of social/serivce events, and act as a role model for current and potential AMA members.

As an active member of both the UF Chapter of the American Marketing Association and the Strategic Communications Committee, I assisted in the preparations of different marketing materials within the organization. In addition, I also attended the bi-weekly general body meetings and other activities.

I shadow 6+ medical professionals on a weekly basis via a virtual platform and I am tested on the knowledge that I gain from these experiences. I am on-track to achieve anywhere from 100-150 shadowing hours by the end of the 2023-2024 academic year.

Marketing firm housed under the American Marketing Association - UF Chapter. I use my experience in Business Strategy to build marketing plans for a variety of local businesses in the greater Gainesville. I work directly with our teams in research and branding to develop comprehensive business strategies that are unique for each individual business.I also present our new midpoint and final marketing strategies to a panel of judges in multiple Sparks Case Competitions.

I volunteered at Total Vision of Port Orange an Optometric Technician Intern. There I ran workups on patients, utilized ophthalmologic imaging machines, and used a variety of medical software to update/ review patient charts. In addition, I learned how medical practices function regarding insurance processing and overall office management.

Here, I was periodically assigned the role of "Head Host" where I was in charge of training new employees and ensured that high volume nights ran smoothly. I also assessed the needs of hundreds of customers per night to ensure high customer satisfaction while also managing and planning out dozens of reservations.

After requiring the interview through a rigorous interview process, I learned about the fundamentals of working within a financial institution. During my shifts, I would be responsible for a wide variety of banking transactions while remaining friendly and efficient.
