Produced method to use spatial and temporal data ridership and payment data to determine placement of supplemental points-of-sale (POS) to equitably serve un/underbanked riders (masters thesis). Created maps for municipal partner workshops and gathered feedback. Assisted in outreach of vulnerable riders for AFC2 through street teams, focus groups, and a variety of community meetings.

For UEP 0173-01 Transportation Planning. Reviewed and commented weekly on student neighborhood transportation surveys. Provided feedback on project ideas.

Designed project to learn about teen barriers and attitudes toward transportation. Through outreach to community organizations, talked with 250+ Boston teens, focusing on underserved neighborhoods. Produced report with recommendations for Boston City Council members, Boston city departments, mobility advocacy organizations, and the MBTA. Resulted in free transit passes for all students grades 7-12.

For Global Comparative Architecture and Urbanism Project, Tufts University UEP. Lit review on studies related to distinctive historic or urban visual elements and perceptions of authenticity of place.

Research, implementation and evaluation on nationally-funded projects centered on social science, education, and software. Conducted interviews, surveys, and observations in and about formal and informal educational settings—with learners, educators, and women of color in science. Managed deadlines across multiple projects. Synthesized data for reports, papers, and presentations for internal and external audiences, including policy suggestions to institutions and U.S. Congress. Conducted literature reviews, prepared research briefs, and wrote manuscripts for academic journals and proceedings. Public engagement through facilitating activities at museum events, production of monthly e-newsletter, creating page on Facebook and maintaining posts. Conducted software training for team members. Northeastern University's student newspaper, published weekly with a circulation of 10,000. I managed client relationships and the database. I designed ads for local clients and did the page layout for advertisements. I created invoices and tracked editorial-to-ad content ratios. I also trained advertising representatives and assistant managers.

Celera Networks provides professional IT support and network services for local small to mid-size businesses. I conducted secondary research for IT solutions to write white papers. I composed quotes and proposals for clients and potential clients, reworked the billing process, and advanced the setup of an online system to manage schedules and customer requests.

Y2M is the largest national online student newspaper network (now owned by MTV Networks). I maintained the database of advertising rates & campaigns. I negotiated pricing deals with colleges/universities and generated price quotes for sales reps. I also placed advertising campaign orders with schools, kept track of campaign proofs and dealt with billing issues.

I worked in the Child Development Unit where I compiled databases of results from infant research studies and promoted the infant development fellowship through brochure production, marketing & outreach.
