Lily is an advertising veteran turned social entrepreneur. She spent the first 20 years of her career with international marketing communications agencies such as Dentsu, EURO RSCG in Singapore and Ogilvy in Beijing. She worked with global brands to strengthen their presence in local markets, as well as enabling local brands to go global. She is a creative problem solver with the perseverance to overcome challenges and develop ideas that lead to win-win situations for clients, partners and the agency. A people-first leader who embraces diversification, Lily fosters open and collaborative environments, with fair and consistent systems that motivates staff members. Her last corporate position was as Managing Director of OgilvyOne Beijing. In 2016, Lily moved on to a new chapter in her life. Motivated by a growing sense of social responsibility, and the belief that commercial strategies can solve social problems. She acts as business consultant to Beijing Leping Social Entrepreneurs Foundation, a system builder and catalyst of philanthropy and social innovation in China, and to the social enterprises incubated by Leping. She also designs business models for community development projects that improve lives of most vulnerable in Southeast Asia. Lily is a board member of Social Venture Partner International, a global network of citizen philanthropists.
