Over the last 20 years I have held Consulting Management and Project Management roles, which have included responsibility for business activity management, revenue generation, operating cost management, P&L reporting, sales execution, project delivery, and personnel management. Experienced in large organisations, I understand big company process / politics, having worked in smaller companies, I also understands how to exercise tight planning and tight fiscal control.While attention to detail and an analytical approach has assisted me in being a good manager, it is people skills which have made me a very successful manager. People respond very well to my personality and management style/approach. I recognise and appreciates staff as individuals. I appreciate their values, their needs and desires and work very hard at being consistent, honest and balanced. Always happy to make popular decisions, but never walk away from difficult ones. I have a deep understanding of how technology can assist business meet its business goals and create competitive advantage. - Since joining QUU I have implemented a number of project related initiatives within the enterprise integration space. These include;
- the introduction of service virtualisation (cloud based testing environment);
- a significant upgrade to the existing RedHat Fuse ESB Platform;
- the introduction of a sophisticated API Gateway Platform, supporting both internal and external system connectivity. This initiative included; defining the architecture and requirements, running the RFO process.
- further, the number of integration services / API’s have been increased from 35 to over 90;
- during this time the internal technical capabilities of the integration team have been significantly expanded and deepened in support of a DevOps operating model.

- the introduction of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) - governance, standards and Oracle product suite, which will be used by all new initiative in the enterprise middleware integration space;
- managed the implementation of Oracle 12c Fusion Middleware and the introduction of API Gateway technology;
- a major project to implement a new Contact Centre Solution designed and implemented for both Energex and Ergon Energy;
- execution of a cloud computing trial using Microsoft Azure, the learnings from this trial assisted SPARQ position itself for a broader enterprise take-up of cloud based services.
