Lina Celis, arquitecta (Universidad de Los Andes) y maestra en textiles (Parsons School of Design) con honores. Esta interesada en una práctica ética desde lo multidisciplinar explorando el “habitar consciente”, traduciendo memorias colectivas en piezas habitables a traves del fique recuperado. Finalista en el Dorothy Waxman Textile Prize 2022, el CFDA Scholarship Fund 2022, y el Design For the Future Award 2023. Lina trabaja en The Mycelium House con AIANY y es parte del Colectivo de Palabreo.__________Lina Celis, an architect (Universidad de Los Andes, 2019), has been exploring the concept of "inhabit consciously" from ancestral and traditional knowledge and contemporary technologies. Lina has delved into and materialized, through a multidisciplinary approach, the interdependent relationship that exists between humans and the more-than-human world, emphasizing the notion of "home" as a feeling rather than a physical space. With a Master's degree in Textiles from Parsons School of Design in 2023, she focus her research on an ethical and decolonized sense of home intertwined with a mixed identity framework. Lina has garnered recognition through the Dorothy Waxman Textile Design Prize 2022, the CFDA Scholarship Fund 2022, and the Aquafil X Parsons School of Design Design For the Future Award 2023. Nowadays, she is working on The Mycelium House: Material Exploration for a Zero-Carbon Tiny Home with AIANY, lastly Lina is part of the transdisciplinary team Colectivo de Palabreo.
