• Development and management of strategic relations with key policymakers and partners:- Participation in strategic negotiations with media trade associations and stakeholders: TV and movie producers (production commitments, media chronology rules), technology and digital issues (content piracy, IP), advertising and marketing businesses- Responsible for the digital and innovation lobbying: educate and inspire both internal and external stakeholders, influence public policies on technology and innovation, coordinate advocacy groups- Ownership of the relationship with the French TV regulatory agency (CSA): coordinate answers to their questions, surveys (compliance, advertising, cultural diversity, etc.) and calls for applications• Coordination of competition and litigation matters by providing:- Competitive intelligence analysis, creation of persuasive arguments and talking points about the Group’s and its competitors’ position in the market- Guidance in connection with matters related to M&A transactions and integration: definition of processes and risk mitigation strategies, training of the teams affected by the commitments – On air, programming, acquisitions, HR, ad sales, etc. – relationship with the audit firm appointed by the French Competition agency- Support in managing litigations (complaints of competitors, Authority’s decisions) and appeals, interaction with external legal counsel• Monitoring of emerging/pending regulation and legislation (Parliament, Government, trade associations, EU), and evaluation of their impact on the Group’s businesses; coordination of external legal and lobbying counsels on public policy related issues
