Perform all duties of an Analyst II proficiently. Performs advanced instrument troubleshooting and initiates and monitors service calls for instrument maintenance and repairs. Evaluates quality control data for overall performance and provides interpretation of analytical results.

Perform all the duties of an Analyst I proficiently as well as modify testing schedules in order to meet client needs. Monitor supply inventory for the department and place orders as needed.

Perform all the duties of the Lab Support Specialist II proficiently as well as independently review and release analytical results. Assist in the training of new employees and support the Client Services staff by reviewing backlogs, responding to TIQ, sample clarifies (sample matrix issues, special requests, and handling) and updating promise dates.

Manipulate, aliquot and perform analyses of biological specimens for drugs and potentially toxic compounds. Prepare and validate reagents, controls, and calibrators. Calibrate lab equipment and document/review QC data. Enter results in LIMS and generate reports for review. Assist with method development/validation and analytical SOP preparations.

Maintain and complete documentation for all centrally stored specimens, both physically and electronically, and oversee transport of specimens. Print and apply labels to specimen containers. Sort specimens and deliver to the appropriate laboratory testing areas. Retrieve samples from storage for analysts and processors, and manage reflex.resample report. Sort EDI samples and justify against manifest. Maintain discard reports, and discard samples. Perform clarify procedures. Print and work department backlog report.
