CurrentAt National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration:. Perform as ISSO of federal information systems, conducting risk assessments, and vulnerability and compliance scan, implementing security controls, monitoring and auditing security operations, and maintaining comprehensive documentation ensuring compliance with organizational IT security policies.. Develop and update security Assessment and Accreditation (A&A) documents for federal information systems and lead the A&A interview to obtain and maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO).. Develop and enforce security policies and procedures for information systems, and security specification document for next-generation information system.. Lead security incident response and remediation effort.. Deliver security briefings and annual ATO briefing to the CIO and authorization officials.. Perform as system administrator, developing system security baselines, system-hardening procedure and image, and deployment procedures for enterprise security tools.. Collaborate with the management team and third-party vendors to design, develop, and implement solutions that comply with the FISMA system requirements and industry standards.. Assist security technical leader with various tasks across multiple NOAA information systems.
