I'm a certified Medicare Counselor with HIICAP and the New York State Department for the Aging, and keep up with the changes in Medicare with monthly training. I provide FREE unbiased help to all New Yorkers who are eligible for Medicare through age--turning 65, retirement, or through disability which has NO age restriction. I also specialize in helping LOW INCOME seniors with plans that work with your Medicare to help pay for your prescription drugs and/or Rx co-pays, Part B and Part D premiums. I'm not an insurance broker nor affiliated with any insurance company. Unlike an insurance broker, I'm not motivated by commissions nor am I trying to place anyone in a plan with which I am affiliated. I volunteer at the Bayside Senior Center where I evaluate each person's situation and show them the plans and options that are best for them, which allows them to make an informed decision. I also help seniors with their Medical Bills, Claims, appealing a hospital discharge, information on Long Term Home Care plans for Medicare/Medicaid beneficiaries, and any other Medicare related issue.
