I am a recent computer information systems graduate seeking a career working with data. I have a diverse background in HRIS and customer service and am passionate about working with data, customers, collaborating and streamlining processes. I am looking for an employer who offers the opportunity to grow and learn new skills. I enjoy working in an environment of collaboration with a common goal – to put the customer’s wants and needs first. In my 30+ year career, the most rewarding job was in healthcare at Jefferson Hospital. We were always looking for ways to improve the quality and effectiveness of patient care by improving processes and technology for our clinical workers. Major accomplishments include:1) Strategic in presenting a redesign for the new hire orientation process at Jefferson Hospital by creating an onboarding manual, combining all the PowerPoint presentations into an all-encompassing PowerPoint presentation, and facilitating monthly new hire orientations to ensure a smooth presentation. As a result, I saved Jefferson Hospital six hours of manpower per month to prepare new hire packets and improved new hire presentation time from eight hours to six and a half hours.2) Proactively created an Access database to improve the tracking of leaves of absence and enhance efficiency. The database included all the communication documents and emails related to the leave of absence process. As a result, leave of absence processing and communication improved by approximately 91%, and communication flow to the benefits department for short/long-term leave processing increased by 88%. 3) Improved the tuition reimbursement process and the Employee Crisis Fund program by proactively creating Access databases to enhance analytical reporting and incorporate electronic communication and processing with employees and the payroll department.4) Single-handedly mapped and migrated data from the leave of absence database to the company's leave of absence database to successfully align the leave of absence processing.5) Proactively learned a database schema that consisted of 25 relational databases in five days and created a 511 line complex SQL code with multiple joins, subqueries, temp tables, case statements, and substrings to extract data for 12 healthcare payer reporting spreadsheets.
