Linda performs duties for Computer Help Key on a part time basis. She is focused in the areas of benefits, insurance(health, liability, workers compensation, disability, and life), contract negotiation, employee and client relations. Linda also oversees the business operations for the Company. Linda is experienced in researching complex legal issues as they relate to employment and business operations.

Linda volunteers for Placing Paws, primarily in the areas of fundraising/grant writing and marketing. Placing Paws is an all volunteer, non for profit animal rescue group that finds new forever homes for homeless companion animals of all breeds, sizes and ages. Since 2008, Placing Paws has rescued and rehomed over 2500 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens.

As a Human Resource Coordinator, Linda performed diverse tasks including employee recruitment, onboarding, and verifications, benefit administration, file review and maintenance including I-9 compliance. Linda was the company resource for employees, as well as a liaison with outside vendors for company health insurance, benefits and workers compensation. Linda is experienced in researching complex legal issues as they relate to employment and to ensure company compliance.

As a Human Resource Specialist, Linda performed diverse tasks including employee recruitment, onboarding, and verifications, as well as ongoing employment file reviews and maintenance including I-9 compliance. Linda researched complex legal issues as they related to employment to ensure company compliance, including OSHA and safety, workers compensation and wage garnishments. Linda served as a resource for employees in English and Spanish regarding all aspects of employment, including benefits enrollment, review and administration. She was the liaison for employees for health insurance benefits and 401k issues. Linda also performed various Human Resource and Administrative tasks as needed by the company.

Linda worked as an independent Insurance Broker focused on health, life, disability income, dental and other insurance products. Linda's consulted with both business and individual clients to provide customized insurance solutions that both meet their needs and remain within budget.

Linda began her career at Trustmark adjudicating Disability Income and life insurance claims. Linda then accepted a position within the Law Department where she wrote legislative briefs and performed legal research on various topics. Linda then was promoted to Regulatory Compliance Analyst. Linda's duties included reviewing laws and filing amended insurance documents to multiple state Departments of Insurance for review and approval.
