Born in Taiwan and raised in Honolulu, HI, Linda has over 19 years of management experience across industries in International Creative Project Development, Advertising and Marketing, and Entertainment.She is the Co-Founder and Director of Dancers Unlimited (DU), a bi-coastal 501(c)3 nonprofit company in NYC & Hawaii, with international touring experiences and community programs. Established as a free Youth dance program on Furlough Fridays in Hawaii, DU is rooted in community engagement and advancement. Working with both private sectors and government programs, we have facilitated dance programs in schools, museums and international events. Notable partners include: Shanghai World Expo USA Pavilion, US Embassy in China, Honolulu Academy of Arts, Hawaii State Art Museum, NYC Dance Week, University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa, Brooklyn International High School, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis High School, and Wai Wai Collective. In addition to creating touring productions and community programs, Linda was also the Director for National Dance Week Hawaiʻi and Bboy In Shanghai Hawaiʻi Qualifiers.Linda believes that dance is the backbone of cultural identity and resilience. Her choreography addresses social and cultural issues while fusing contemporary, Street and cultural dances with a strong emphasis on authentic & diverse storytelling. Her creative vision has shaped DU artistic and community engagement missions.Linda has a versatile dance background in Hula, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, House and other club and street dance styles. She continues House dance and Capoeira training with House Dance Pioneer, Sekou Heru. She is a member of BOLD (Builders, Organizers and Leaders through Dance) by Urban Bush Women and studied at its Summer Leadership Institute at New York University. Other notable credits / experiences include: 92nd Y’s Dance Education Laboratory Alumnus, Halawai NYCʻs NY / Pacific Island Time Awardee, Dance NYC Symposium 2021 Panelist.She is currently an Artist In Residence at Lower Manhattan Cultural Council’s Arts Center on Governors Island. Linda is also a freelance Creative Business Consultant.
