I am currently an Employment Specialist for a mental health agency. Our clients have substance abuse disorders along with other mental issues and disorders. I have currently held this position for over four years. I assist clients in obtaining employment, keeping employment, work ethics, resume, interview skills, career goals, and planning. When working with clients we identify any barriers they have along with their strengths in obtaining any career and life goals they have. I am continuously building a rapport with local businesses as I follow up with employee visits and job contacts in the three counties in which our clients reside. I also assisted clients with various recourse.
