As the Executive Director of VISIT EAU CLAIRE, I oversee a budget of $1.7 million + and staff of 10; Reporting to a Board of Directors, I ensure the implementation of the strategic initiatives they set forth. The markets we target include convention meetings and groups, sporting tournaments and events, niche leisure markets and festivals. VISIT Eau Claire is a regionally-based marketing organization, promoting many of the communities in West Central Wisconsin's Chippewa Valley. Supporting infrastructure development to support the tourism product of the Eau Claire area is a key strategy of our organization in addition to the marketing, advertising and online promotion inititatives.
