Leading the clinical, operational, reporting and account management activities for our innovative artificial intelligence/predictive modeling healthcare technology company. Directed and was responsible for all clinical pharmacy services for 800K-member Blue Cross / BlueShield plan within Northeast Health Plan marketplace. Hired, directed and evaluated clinical pharmacist staff and was key pharmacy contact within the organization (including sales/account team), and with associated provider networks, employer groups, pharmaceutical manufacturers and PBM for work related to optimizing plan’s Commercial, Medicare and Medicaid business’ pharmacy quality and cost clinical trends.

Co-led startup of WellPoint’s entire National Accounts division as member of leadership team overseeing National Employer Group clients’ pharmacy benefit management services. Provided primary clinical strategic and developmental leadership for over 150 clients by reviewing pharmacy account cost drivers, analyzing data and highlighting current pharmacy and collaborative disease management program opportunities that manage overall healthcare trends for employer groups.

Led development and implementation of clinical therapy management programs (for both quality and cost of care) with close attention to budgets, timeline, quality and outcomes, in various disease states nationally inclusive of external (Health Plans, TPAs, and Employer Groups) and internal (wholly-owned health plans servicing commercial, Medicaid and Medicare business) PBM clients.
