Directed the design, development, implementation, and KPI measurement of customer experience & marketing strategies for subscriber retention, churn reduction, and improvement of average rate/revenue. Created and executed subscriber marketing initiatives for USA TODAY, its weekly sister publication Sports Weekly, and the USA TODAY e-Edition. Managed all aspects of vendor relationships (call centers, software/service providers).Conducted complex data analysis of customer insights to identify actionable tactics, develop rate/renewal strategies, and create targeted customer communications campaigns. Led team of direct and indirect reports and held accountability for 3rd-party call center performance, including training/coaching for up to 100 team members at various U.S. locations. Collaborated with IT to select and implement various service providers, prioritize requests and manage related projects. Worked with in-house counsel on vendor contracts and other legal matters.
